One Saturday can be a round. Twelve Saturdays can be a season.
Set up your league and, if you like, your Race. Decide which rounds count and how many get dropped. Which events are majors and how much more they're worth. How the points are shared out. And how much of a head start each player takes into the final. Nintee keeps it all up to date while you play. Today you're fighting to win the round. In December you might be fighting not to finish last.
Average of your best rounds, total with drops, or points per position. Majors that count for more. Handicap categories, each with its own winner. Stableford or Medal.
Every event hands out a pot of points, weighted towards the winner. Your best results count. And a final where the top players start with an advantage: points in Stableford, strokes in Medal.

So where do those numbers come from?
Nothing gets written into The Tab by hand. The numbers come from whatever you played that day: the tournament bet, whatever your group plays for and the side bets. Play all three, just one, or none.

The big bet of the day, on the day's standings: the bottom players buy for the top ones, or everyone chips into a pot the best players split. You pick who it hits and how much is on the line; the app works out the split and sends it straight to The Tab.

A season ends. The history stays.
Today it's a round. In five years it'll be that time someone made four birdies, someone else won the league by a point, and someone will still be saying they were robbed on 17. Nintee keeps your pool's history from the very first card. The standings start from zero every season; the Hall doesn't: it covers the whole life of the pool.

Before you set up the pool.
Not much. If you're the one setting it up, create an account, name your pool and you've got a code to share. If you're joining one, that code is all you need: enter it, pull your handicap (or set it by hand) and you're in.
By asking in the app — that's what the call-up is for: you set the day (and the time, if it's known) and everyone answers IN, NOT SURE YET or OUT. The middle one matters more than it looks: in a real group plenty of people don't know until the last minute, and without that option they just stay quiet — which looks the same as not having seen it. People can change their mind until it closes, because dropping out the night before happens. The day before, a reminder goes ONLY to whoever hasn't settled their answer, and only once: pestering people who already replied is the fastest way to get notifications switched off. And when you close it, everyone who said yes is already in the tournament, with no need to write to anyone again.
No. You score the card out on the course and that's it. The points, the strokes each player gets, the standings, the handicaps and whatever is owed from the bets are all handled by the app. No napkins, no spreadsheets.
No. It's a single payment for the pool, not one per player: the group pays once and everyone has it. 8 of you or 30, same price; how you split it between you is your business.
It's one of the best things it does. You set the whole trip up before leaving home —each day with its course and its date— and each day opens on its own when it's due. On top of that there's one standings table for the whole trip and a single Tab: the days add up and you settle at the end. And it runs apart from the league, so whoever stays home carries on with theirs.
You mark them as retired and the app does the right thing without asking anything else: it stops counting their holes, takes them out of the day's standings and settles whatever they had going with the others. No deleting anyone, no rebuilding the group.
