Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2026

At Nintee we respect your privacy. The data controller is Gabriel Cuervo García, tax ID 11436459P, address Calle Nicasio Gallego 17, 2º, 28010 Madrid, Spain. Contact: hola@ninteegolf.com.

1. What data we handle

  • Account: email and password (encrypted) for signing in.
  • Player profile: name/nickname, handicap, licence (optional), photo (optional).
  • Play: results, stats and the data of your group's rounds.
  • Payment (Premium only): if you pay from the web, Stripe handles it; if you buy inside the app, Apple or Google do. We never store your card details.
  • Notifications (optional): if you turn alerts on, we store an identifier for your device (token) so we can send you your group's notifications (tournaments, results and messages). We use it for nothing else and you can turn it off whenever you like.
  • Where you came from: when you finish creating a group we note whether you already played in another group or created it with someone's code. We use it to know which channels work; nobody in your group sees it and it is not used for advertising.
  • What you ask the AI help: the text you write to the setup assistant and the photo of the paper card you want us to read for you. It is only sent when you ask for it, to answer you at that moment.
  • Technical: the minimum data needed for the app to run.

2. What we use them for

To provide the service (creating groups, standings, stats), manage your subscription and give you support, and to know which channels people find us through. Legal basis: performance of the contract (use of the service), your consent where it applies, and our legitimate interest in measuring which channels work.

Emails we send you. On top of the account ones (sign-up, password, invitations and your pool's notices, which the service can't work without), we write now and then about Nintee itself: how your pool is doing, the odd piece of news and, very occasionally, a survey to find out what we can improve — sometimes with a gift for answering. There are few of them and they're always about the service you already use. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving Nintee and in keeping in touch with existing users (art. 21.2 LSSI). Every one of those emails carries a «No more emails from Nintee» button: press it and they stop, without losing the account ones. We never send third-party advertising and we never pass your address to anyone.

3. Who we share them with

Only with the providers needed to make this work. We do not sell your data to anyone.

  • Supabase — the database where everything lives (servers in the European Union).
  • Vercel — where the website and the app are hosted, and who counts website visits anonymously.
  • Stripe — payments made from the web.
  • Apple, Google and RevenueCat — purchases made inside the app and checking whether your subscription is up to date.
  • Resend — sending our emails (sign-up, invitations, your pool's notices and the emails about the service).
  • Google (Firebase) and Apple — delivering notifications to your phone.
  • Anthropic (Claude models) — the AI help: the assistant that sets the group up and the reading of paper cards. See the next section.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — only on the public website and only if you accept the cookie notice. See the cookies section.

4. The AI help

Two features use Anthropic models (Claude): the assistant that sets your group up from what you tell it, and the card reader, which pulls the strokes out of a photo of a paper card. Only what you send at that moment is transmitted —your text or that photo, with whatever names or nicknames appear on it— and it is sent to answer you, nothing more. Your email, your phone and your history are not sent. Anthropic does not use what arrives this way to train its models. If you'd rather not use them, don't: the app works fully without them.

5. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you stop using the service, you can ask us to delete it.

6. Your rights

You can access, rectify, delete or object to the processing of your data, and request its portability, by writing to hola@ninteegolf.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply technical measures to protect your data (access restricted per group, encryption in transit). No system is 100 % foolproof, but we work to keep them safe.

8. Minors

The service is intended for adults. If a minor takes part in a group, it is the organiser's responsibility to have the relevant consent.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are essential for the app to work: keeping you signed in and remembering your active group and your preferences. To know how many people visit the public website and which pages they look at, we count visits anonymously with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, stores no personal data and does not follow you around other sites. Since September 2026 we also use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to know whether our ads bring people who end up creating a group; that cookie is NOT essential, so it is only installed if you accept it in the notice shown the first time, you can say no and the site works just the same, and it is never used inside the App Store and Google Play apps. If you change your mind, there's “Manage cookies” at the bottom of every page on the site: the notice comes back and you can answer differently.
